The Brookes Society: open to all retired former Brookes staff

Welcome to Brookes Society for Retired Staff

Brookes Society for Retired Staff was set up in 2008 by Geoff Bremble, Rodney Tulloch and Ann Edmunds, with the support of the then Vice-Chancellor, Janet Beer.

The aims of the Society are to provide easy access to news of the University and to facilitate different ways former staff can meet up; such as the bi-annual parties hosted by the Alumni Office and the various events organised by the committee, all of which are oversubscribed and enjoyed by those who attend.

Membership of the Society is free and open to all retired former Brookes staff and members can take advantage of benefits being offered by the University and some of its partners.  We currently have over 350 members and the present Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alistair Fitt has pledged his continued support of the Society.

I do hope you will join us, enjoy the various events on offer and meeting old friends and help in developing the Society with ideas and support while at the same time having fun!

Clare Fox -  Chairwoman of the Society
