Arnold Ainebyona Mugisha

Arnold Ainebyona Mugisha (Bsc. Real Estate Management, 2015) sadly passed away on 9th July 2019 aged 26 in Kampala, Uganda. He was born on 9th March 1993 to Plan and Beatrice Mugisha. A graduate of Real Estate, he was one of the proprietors of The Hickory Restaurant and Lounge in Kampala. He thoroughly enjoyed working with restauranteurs and chefs in the area.
Arnold was a wildly intelligent, outgoing person who was not easily forgotten by those that met him. He devoted his working life to reducing youth unemployment in Uganda. Those that knew him, knew of his compassion for the disenfranchised, which fueled his venture into business and created jobs for many.
In his short but impactful life, Arnold was part of the inaugural Enactus Oxford Brookes Society and the African Caribbean Society where he advocated for inclusion and social cohesion of young people in the diaspora. He made his mark in Real Estate worldwide through the different positions he held in firms like Knight Frank after graduating with an Msc. In Real Estate Finance from the University of Reading in 2016.
Arnold moved back to Uganda in 2016 where he continued to work with Knight Frank before venturing into the restaurant business. He is survived by his parents and his brothers; Andrew and Aaron Mugisha.
