From Cowshed to Pottery!

Martin and friends have taken on the project of converting this beautiful cowshed in Oxfordshire into a pottery, which will then be open for the public to take classes, and will also give the Grade II listed building a new lease of life.   All of the hard work is being done on a voluntary basis by the team, who are giving a lot of their own time, and they just needed some money for materials in order to make it happen.

Martin hopes they will soon be able to run pottery classes for the public, in conjunction with Braziers Park, and with social enterprise project, Forest Schools.

This is a wonderful example of how a vision for what is possible, lots of volunteer hours and enthusiasm, and a Student Community Fund award can result in a new initiative being realised for the benefit and enjoyment of others.
