What made you choose Brookes as a place to study?

Because my friend who graduated two years prior she had recommended I checked out Oxford Brookes University. I was happy to see they had a variety of great courses to select from. Plus it happened to be in one of my favorite cities in the world.

What is your best memory of your time at Oxford Brookes?

The friends I made, the relationship we are still building just think about our early days, countless late nights in the library, supporting each other during that time and still after graduating and moving to different parts of the world. Seeing how far we have come in our journeys as individual is a true gift. The other best memory is the support of my academic advisor Susan Brooks and her relentless kindness and patiences.

After graduating from Brookes what were the next steps for your career?

Pursued a Msc in Health Science, continued to build my business as a Confidence Coach, got my first scientific job at Oxford Biomedica.

What was your inspiration to move into your current profession?

My inspiration is still the women in my life. Women I know personally and admire from afar. Their dedication and hardwork has and is still pushing me to pursue my own dreams both in my current career and in my business. I knew my dream was worth the fight and investment and I don't see myself happy anywhere else than running my own business and learning along the way everyday.

What success stories/achievements have you had in your role?

Reading the feedback from the girls and women I have coached are my greatness achievement. Seeing them step out into the world confidently, fearlessly and empowered is a feeling that I always describe as pure joy. Knowing they are apply all we have worked on together and seeing them go after their own dreams, smashing limiting beliefs, pushing past imposter syndrome and pursuing their own happiness is an honor for me to be part of their journey.

What is the best advice someone has given you?

My mother reminds me everyday "Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done by you."

What advice would you give to others?

Don't limit yourself or give anyone permission to limit you. Greatness lives in you because you and the world deserves to see and experience everything you have to offer.
